“To God, no life is worthless.”

Professor Cha In-hong, well-known as a violinist and conductor who overcame a disability, recently visited the headquarters of Logos Mission (President Rev. Park Do-won) at 2315 Sanders Rd., Northbrook, IL 60062, where he shared a deeply moving experience. On Wednesday, July 2, Professor Cha attended the Wednesday CMM Intercessory Prayer Meeting at Logos Chapel, where he moved the hearts of attendees with his heartfelt testimony and a deeply moving violin performance.
This intercessory prayer meeting is part of the ministry of the CMM Christian Medical Mutual Aid Society (hereinafter “CMM”), which operates under the Logos Mission Society. It is held every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at Logos Chapel, featuring intercessory prayer and worship for patients. CMM ministry staff and board members gather to share prayer requests for patients and offer intercessory prayer, conveying God’s comfort and healing through hymns and the Word.

On this day, Professor Cha shared his testimony about his musical and spiritual journey, saying, “Even amid the suffering caused by a disability resulting from polio in my childhood, God bestowed His grace upon me—allowing me, despite having missed out on a formal education, to pass the high school equivalency exam at age 24 and eventually earn a Ph.D. in the United States.” He conveyed a profound message: “In God’s eyes, no life is worthless.” He then performed “God’s Grace” on the violin, bringing comfort and hope to those in attendance as well as to the many patients watching via YouTube.
In an exclusive interview with the Christian Journal, Professor Cha shared his testimony about God’s grace that has guided him thus far and offered warm words of encouragement to others with similar disabilities and to musicians. The interview is scheduled to be released soon on the Christian Journal’s YouTube channel (link).
In addition, during this visit, discussions were held with the management and board of directors of Logos Mission to host a “Christmas Healing Concert” (tentative title) at the headquarters during the 2025 Christmas season for CMM patients and members. This concert is expected to be a special occasion that brings comfort and healing to CMM members, their families, and the local community.
