CMM Christian Mutual Med-Aid was established in 1996 as a healthcare sharing ministry under Logos Mission, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1976.
Since its inception, CMM has been operating based on the biblical principle, "At the present time your abundance will supply their need, so that their abundance may also supply your need, that there may be equality" (2 Corinthians 8:14). Though it began modestly, it has steadily grown and has become a leading organization in the Korean Christian community for healthcare sharing ministry.”
In addition, when the Affordable Care Act (commonly known as Obamacare) was implemented, only organizations that had been established before December 31, 1999 and were consistently operating medical-expense sharing programs without issues were officially recognized as healthcare sharing ministries. CMM is an organization that was approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as having met all of these requirements.
Our desire is to create a community where any true believer can live in the United States without worrying about medical expenses. For more than 30 years, we have been sharing and meeting medical needs of our members, and we continue to pray that the same support will be extended to everyone who participates now and in the future.
Lastly, all of our staff are continuously praying. Whenever a large number of patients arise, we pray for them and support them without hesitation. Even for illnesses that cannot be healed by medical treatments or material Even for illnesses that cannot be cured by medical skills or material means , we earnestly pray that our Lord’s mighty hand and the ‘healing rays’ (Malachi 4:2) will bring healing.
In particular, the mission and hope of CMM is that every true Christian may live without the burden of medical expenses. We pray that more Christians will take part, and that this ministry will become “an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven” (1 Peter 1:4), continuing as a blessing for future generations.
Once again, we welcome you to CMM and pray that the grace of the Lord will be with you.
