History of Logos Missions and Christian Mutual Med-Aid

Logos Missions, Inc. founded

Logos Missions was founded in Chicago, Illinois, by Reverend Samuel DW Park to serve Korean immigrants in their faith and to help them plant new lives in the United States. The beginning of the publication ministry: The Korean Christian Journal

Logos Missions began its written ministry by publishing "Logos" with the mission of paraphrasing the letters of Christ. It was renamed "The Korean Christian Journal" in 1981 and has been a traditional Christian newspaper for more than 40 years, serving as an evangelistic tract and distributed to more than 15,000 Korean-American families across the United States every month.

The beginning of the medical cost-sharing ministry: CMM Christian Mutual Med-Aid

In response to the desperate need of Korean Americans who were suffering from high medical expenses, CMM Christian Mutual Med-Aid was established and began sharing medical expenses among Christians. Over the years, tens of thousands of Christians from all over the United States have participated in sharing medical expenses to help alleviate the burden.
