I am grateful that God has allowed me to live in His grace once again today. My husband and I exercise moderately and pride ourselves on being generally healthy, so we haven’t really been interested in health insurance.
However, in 2019, when an acquaintance was hospitalized with COVID-19, we joined the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Association out of fear that “we could get it, too!” After joining, we began receiving regular health checkups, and this spring, during a comprehensive medical examination in Korea, my husband was diagnosed with early-stage colon cancer.
Once again, I experienced God—the God who gives us the very best and who provides for us. Whenever I contacted the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Association, all the staff members were incredibly kind, offering guidance and assistance. At first, I paid the monthly membership fee simply with the intention of making a donation, but as it turned out, going through this difficult time actually led to us receiving significant financial support. That’s why I’m sharing the sense of security and the benefits provided by the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Association with everyone I meet.
Although I’ve been attending church for over 15 years, it’s only been two full years since I began living with a sincere heart, placing my hope in heaven. I am so happy to live as a child of God. God sometimes gives us trials, but through those trials, He refines and prepares us to give us what is best for us, so that we can look forward to the sweet grace that will follow.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all the members who participate in our outreach ministry and to everyone serving at the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Association. My heart feels even warmer after speaking with each of them. Thank you, and thank you again. I pray that God’s grace and blessings will always be with you. Please stay safe and healthy.
