I joined the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Society in 1996, and as I turn 65 this month, my membership will be terminated due to my eligibility for Medicare. It has been a truly wonderful experience being a member of the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Society. First of all, it gave me peace of mind. I never had to worry even when I needed to go to the hospital. I was once shocked when I saw the hospital bill for a relative who was close to me at the time—it came to several hundred thousand dollars.
However, just a few months after joining the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Association, I had to undergo a minor surgery at an ENT clinic. Although it was a minor procedure, the bill came to $10,000. I immediately contacted the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Association and sent them the necessary documents, and they covered the entire medical bill. It was absolutely wonderful, and I was so grateful.
I shared this with you because I wanted to recommend it to everyone, and as a result, several people have become members. I’ve also learned about other members through the Christian Journal and have prayed for them. The fact that I’ve been able to stay healthy until now is likely because there were people praying for me and the other members to remain strong. I give thanks as I think about how many hidden angels there must be.
Given how difficult it is to access medical care in the United States, I encourage you to join the Christian Medical Mutual Aid Society without hesitation. I’ve been a member for about 28 years and have never once worried about medical bills.
